Recently brought summer items

I must admit I have gone absolutely mad with online shopping since lockdown began, mostly out of boredom and the satisfaction of trying on new items of clothings, shoes, accessories, makeup, and random things I don’t really need. Amongst this assortment however, I have purchased some stuff which have been useful for the hot summer days in the UK which I thought were worth a mention (Written 29th May so prices & availability etc may have changed):

Amazon tower fan – I recommend the one I brought due to how quiet it is at night, but this was definitely needed for my bedroom!

Metal straws – Great for the environment and super handy for the drink concoctions being made through summer (Iced coffees, fizzy drinks, cocktails and milkshakes for me!)

AirPods – I use these everyday for music during workouts, FaceTime calls, podcasts, going about the house, etc. The ones below are from John Lewis and come with 2 years warranty and a price plan to pay monthly instalments!

2020-2021 Day to day Organiser – A fab way for me to organise myself daily and a good way to plan ahead and not double book yourself like I always seem to do!

Carmex lip balm – A classic essential needed all year round to constantly keep lips moisturised

Shein bikinis – Despite maybe taking a few weeks to come as they are sold in the US, Shein bikinis have always been good quality at a good price and I recommend!

Women’s best sports bras – These good quality and well-fitted sports bras are fab for the home workouts I’ve been doing, and Women’s Best currently have 30% off!

PrettyLittleThing Denim Shorts – I struggled to find decent quality denim shorts that fit around both the waist and bum – but these are good quality, good length and have belt loops!

PrettyLittleThing cycling shorts – Love them or hate them, PLT’s extensive range of cycling shorts are fantastic, and I chose to pair mine with oversized t-shirts and trainers, simple block colours that compliment each other.

Midi skirts – My black ribbed midi skirt from Missguided is perfect for summer as it can be an outfit dressed down with trainers and a crop top, or dress out with a strappy top and heels. I cannot find it online so here’s a picture of me 🙂

Striped summer trousers – Perfect for weather which isn’t quite hot enough for shorts, but too hot for jeans! I believe I brought mine from Matalan and they’re navy and white stripes, but there are other alternatives below…

A nice pair of sturdy sandals – I own a pair of tan sandals which compliment most outfits and are similar to the first picture. They’re comfy, lightweight and a better alternative for summer sometimes than socks and trainers!

I know I’m not the only one to have gone crazy with all of the parcels – let me know your summer favourites!
